This presentation given at the 2015 Asia Clean Energy Forum covers regulatory and policy support and market-based EE measures designed to reduce India’s electricity consumption. It also covers the current ESCO market in India and EESL’s role as a Super ESCO, whose innovative business models have captured EE opportunities across major economic sectors and end use applications—effectively aggregating demand, reducing initial costs, creating commercially viable investment opportunities, and facilitating higher uptake of solutions by end users.
