The Climate and Clean Air Coalition to Reduce Short-Lived Climate Pollutants (CCAC) has released a report, titled ‘Time to Act – To reduce short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs).' The report details the causes and sources of SLCPs, and outlines the potential benefits of control measures. The report underscores the need for fast and immediate action on SLCPs, stating that delayed implementation of control measures would be detrimental to human well-being, and contribute to cumulative sea-level rise.
CCAC, hosted by UNEP, is a voluntary international coalition of partners focusing on addressing SLCPs in order to protect the environment and public health, promote food and energy security, and address near-term climate change. CCAC partners include governments, international organizations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs)
