Six programmes have been identified to achieve this goal: (1) forest demarcation, classification and registration, (2) conservation and development of forest resources and biodiversity; (3) forest law enforcement and governance, (4) community forestry programme, (5) capacity and research development, and (6) sustainable forest financing.
