The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), in New Delhi, India, is inviting participants to apply for a three week special course on social enterprises and sustainable development. The overall course objective is to build capacity on various aspects related to social enterprises in energy and environment with a specific focus on developing countries. The course aims to establish such capacity through modular education relying on themes around social entrepreneurship including aspects of enabling environment such as policy, institutions and financing. The course will deploy participatory tools and case studies and also include field visits and interactions with the informal sector.

Target group: Both governmental and non-governmental participants working in projects for national, state/ province, rural and urban development and who deal with stakeholders such as multilaterals, bilateral, philanthropic organizations, business & industry, and civil society
Government of India will bear the following expenses for the selected candidates:
- Return international airfare by excursion/economy class
- Course fees and book allowance
- Accommodation Hostel
- Living allowance @ INR 25,000 per month on pro rata basis.
Candidates are, among other things, expected to meet the expenditure for their meals from this amount.
