In continuation to the launch of the Communities of Practice (CoP) on Grid Renewable Energy, Transport- Clean Mobility, and NDC Finance, the Asia LEDS Partnership takes pleasure in announcing the launch of the Multi-Level Climate Governance (MLCG) Community of Practice.
The activities of the MLCG CoP will focus on peer learning, expert assistance and knowledge exchange through moderated discussions (including online sessions), country visits, in-country workshop, development of case studies etc.
As part of the MLCG CoP, short-term technical support will be provided to sub-national entities in 2 provinces/sub-national authorities to adopt the ClimateResilientCITIES Action Plan (CRCAP) methodology.
Early Mover, Multilevel Governance- Climate Action Teams (MLG-CAT):
Two countries in Asia will be selected to partner and receive technical support for strengthening their multilevel climate governance institutional arrangements for LEDs and NDC implementation.
Suitable persons from national governments (Ministry of Urban Development, finance, energy, environment, others) and sub-national governments, private sector, NGOs, academia, association/network of local governments and think tanks that work on sub-national integration/MLG policies and deployment and related topics can be nominated. Please complete these questions to submit your nominations by the 25th of August, 2018.
