The Green Growth on-line e-Learning facility provides a zero emissions platform for interactive and self-paced learning and is designed to enhance the ability and skills of key decision-makers from the recipient countries to devise various green growth/green economy policy responses for fostering a low carbon development, amidst tackling more effectively the issues of resource efficiency, environmental sustainability, poverty reduction and climate change.
The Low Carbon Green Growth Roadmap for Asia and the Pacific is a new course offered to member States to help their policymakers turn the till-now trade-off between the ecological crisis and economic growth into a synergy in which resource constraints and climate crisis become opportunities for the growth necessary to reduce poverty in the region. The objective of the training course is to explain how to begin such a green transformation.
The Low Carbon Green Growth Roadmap on-line e-Learning course provides multiple sources of information for policy makers. The first module, Part I, provides an overview of the challenges and opportunities confronting the region and the other modules present 4 tracks as core elements pertaining to the desired necessary economic system change needed to pursue green growth as a new economic development path
